K, Day 2 Night
Hello.
[She'd gone back to her room after the vote was over, her face pale.]
Thanks for coming. ...It looks like... Levi truly was innocent.

I feel terrible for the fate that befell him, but...in the end, he is the one who lied to everyone. He was foolish to think it would not backfire on him and then berate us as cowards.

His actions didn't make a single ounce of sense unless he truly believed he knew that Legion was the killer. It would be incredible to think that he would go to his death for this reason otherwise.
And Missile.... Either he believed he knew that Legion was innocent or he believed he knew that Levi was guilty. The latter was wrong.

[A sigh.]
It seems that Missile simply knew Levi was lying and nothing else, but I do not blame him for this. Missile was right to call out Levi as a liar -- when someone lies about a claim like that, the most logical assumption is that they're mafia. However I am concerned that Aya said that Levi was not the one who wrote that letter. It means it's a prank or the buddy cops are the ones who sent it -- Legion is still not cleared because of this debacle.
Levi's actions have done nothing but hinder us all. We are down several now and there are still no VIPs taken out.
...Aside from that, I think Missile sent me the letter because he cleared me and then sent me to you because he cleared you as well. This is the only logical thing I can deduce from his actions.
[Especially because Missile didn't seem to like him that much on the first day -- he doesn't think the dog would go out of his way to specifically give him the pictures if there was no trust.]

[Edea looks surprised for a moment and openly gapes.]
I thought -- I thought it was an accusation of me. The moment I saw what was happening, I thought --
[A flash of regret crosses her eyes.]
Then... Then I have acted in a truly cowardly fashion. I could not speak for my belief in Levi's innocence... because I feared it would condemn me as well.

[Edea's picture was ripped up when he received it, but not in the same manner Levi's was so it could mean anything.]
Besides, seeing as Levi wasn't a VIP I would think a real VIP would take advantage of the situation and try to defend him openly.

Er.
Would a VIP not try to condemn him, knowing he was innocent?
[...]
No -- because in defending him, they would gain the respect of the others after seeing that Levi was innocent.
[...]
Although -- that would also...
Well, I suppose there's no point. ...I did nothing. It was shameful to the extreme.
((Bed, night!))

Do not worry Edea. You can make for it in the future.
...
Although, in the event that you are a VIP I hope you do not target me tonight. It would not at all play in your favor and you would be quickly ousted, especially if Missile did get a guilty verdict on you.
[Just sayin.]

[She will smile, a little gratefully.]
But - and I say this out of concern - I fear... you have made yourself a noticeable target. The VIPs have doubtlessly become aware that the Detective believes you trustworthy since you revealed those pictures.
Please be very careful tonight.
You are... eminently intelligent. We have need of you, still.
[Today in weird knightly euphemisms: "you're a better leader than Levi ever was."]

I had this vision... when we first entered... that we would find and apprehend these killers with the greatest of ease. Black was black and white was white. No one who committed such acts could be innocent.
I have never seen murder become... a game. It frightens me more than facing thousands of enemies on the battlefield.
